FIBA ASIA National Referees Clinic (Male' Maldives) [Monday, February 28, 2011]
FIBA ASIA has been conducting Referee Clinics for all the sub zones every year under its referee's development program. FIBA Asia is seeking to increase more referees around FIBA ASIA sub zones. As a result FIBA ASIA has organized the 1st ever FIBA ASIA National Referees clinic in Male / Maldives. MBA willingly accepts FIBA ASIA's Technical support to train the potential referees of MBA in conjunction with basketball development programs.
12 Participants in different categories had completed the Clinic. Technical Director of FIBA ASIA Col. Lee Kak Kuan conducted the Clinic and assisted by Technical Assistant Mr. Wong Chung Min.
The Clinic started on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 and ended with a memorable closing ceremony at Monsoons (Restaurant) on Sunday, February 27, 2011.
Technical Director of FIBA ASIA Col. Lee Kak Kuan, Technical Assistant Mr. Wong Chung Min, Minster of State Human Resources Youth and Sports Mr. Mohamed Rasheed, PS of Ministry of Human Resources Youth and Sports Mr. Mohamed Mahid Shareef, NOC President Mr. Ibrahim Ismail, NOC Hon. President Mr. Mohamed Zahir Naseer and MBA Senior Officials and Committee members were present at the Ceremony.
