Zig Zag of Kulhudhuffushi became the Champions [Wednesday, May 19, 2010]
Zig Zag of H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi became the Champions of the the 4th, Atoll Basketball Championship. Zig Zag beat Hiriya of Lh. Hinnavaru in the Finals played today (Wednesday, May 19, 2010) at Youth Center Indoor Hall. Mohamed Nishan of Zig Zag was awarded the Best Player of the Match. The match was shown live on TVM.
Most Promising 5 players : Ahmed Aushan, Mohamed Hassan and Adam Mohamed of Zig Zag and Ali Naail and Abdulla Yauqoob of Hiriya.
Man of the Tournament : Hussain Nihad Ahmed - Zig Zag.
The Champion Cup, trophies and the certificates for the winners were distributed by the Guest of Honor Minster of Human Resources Youth and Sports Hon. Hassan Latheef. The tounament was exclusively sponsored by DHIRAAGU.

The timings of the 4th, Atoll Basketball Championship (Mens Division) Final has been changed from 20:30 to 16:00 on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. The decision was made by MBA for the LIVE coverage purpose. The " MATCH WILL BE SHOWN LIVE on TVM ". Zig Zag of H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi and Hiriya of Lh.Hinnavaru will play in the Final.

Hiriya and Zig Zag has qualified for the final of the 4th, Atoll Basketball Championship (Mens Division). Havaru Sports has lost all the four games they have played. Hiriya and Zig Zag still have one more match to be played before the final.

Opening Match of 4th, Atoll BB Championship (Mens Division) [Monday, May 11, 2010]
The opening match of the 4th, Atoll Basketball Championship (Mens Division) was held at Youth Center indoor yesterday (Monday, May 10, 2010) at 20:30. Hiriya of Lh. Hinnavaru beat Havaru Sports of G.Dh. Thinadhoo by 68 points to 62 points in the opening match. Mohamed Faisal of Havaru Sports was declared the best player of the match. Havaru Sports will play against Zig Zag of H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi tonight (Tuesday, May 11, 2010) at 20:30.
H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi was the champions of 2nd and 3rd Atoll Basketball Championship.
The Tournament was inaugurated by the Guest of Honor, Mr. Riyaz Rasheed - Chairman of All Sports.
