Maldives National Basketball Team is arriving to Male' tonight on Singapore Airlines flight. The team has traveled from Dhaka to Singapore yesterday. It was very disappointing that, Maldives has lost the Bangladesh match with an unexpected score resulting the group-B to become tied and at the final classification, Maldives was eliminated from 1st round.

Maldives National Basketball Team has lost the 2nd match of the South Asian games - Basketball match played today (Tuesday, February 02, 2010 at 17:30 Male time) against Bangladesh. Maldives lost the match by 72 points to 59 points. Therefore, three teams had equal points and at the final classification, Bangaldesh and Nepal has advanced to Semi Finals as Maldives had a lowest goal average.

Maldives National Basketball Team has won the 1st match of the South Asian games - Basketball match played today (Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 16:00 Male time) against Nepal. Maldives won the match by 69 points to 62 points.
